Economic GrowthEconomic Growth
Rob’s top priority for his next term is expanding Frankfort’s sewer infrastructure to unlock new opportunities for growth and long-term economic development. For several years, Frankfort has experienced stagnant population growth. Rob believes that strategic infrastructure expansion — particularly sewer capacity — is the foundation for attracting new businesses, supporting housing development, and creating high-quality job opportunities. By investing in critical infrastructure now, Frankfort can position itself to welcome new employers, encourage residential development, and provide the kind of economic momentum that strengthens families and secures the city’s financial future. Responsible growth, smart planning, and strong fiscal management will ensure that Frankfort not only grows — but grows the right way.

Prioritizing Public SafetyPrioritizing Public Safety
Rob firmly believes that government’s first responsibility is to provide safety and security for its community. Having served on the front lines throughout his career with the Frankfort Police Department, Rob understands firsthand how essential it is for families to feel safe in their homes, neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces. Rob is committed to ensuring that Frankfort’s first responders have the resources, training, equipment, and support they need to effectively serve and protect the community. Public safety is also fundamental to economic growth. When attracting new residents and businesses, they must know that Frankfort is a safe, secure, and well-managed city. Strong public safety builds strong neighborhoods — and strong neighborhoods build a strong Frankfort.

Responsible Fiscal ManagementResponsible Fiscal Management
Rob is committed to operating within the city’s budget while working closely with the City Manager and department heads to identify unnecessary expenses and ensure taxpayer dollars are used wisely. Rob believes that strong financial oversight, transparency, and strategic planning are essential to maintaining the long-term stability of Frankfort. While there has been concern surrounding the city’s budget, Rob recognizes the hard work of city staff and leadership in implementing strategic planning measures that have helped allocate resources effectively and protect the city’s financial health. By continuing to focus on accountability, efficiency, and smart decision-making, Rob will work to ensure that Frankfort remains financially strong while still meeting the needs and priorities of its residents.

Additional PrioritiesAdditional Priorities
Additional priorities for Rob include advancing Riverfront Development, capitalizing on tourism opportunities, and exploring viable options for a new community swimming pool and recreation center. As Kentucky’s capital city, Frankfort has tremendous untapped potential. Strategic riverfront investment can create attractive public spaces, support local businesses, and enhance quality of life for residents. Expanding tourism initiatives will further showcase Frankfort’s unique history, government presence, and small-town charm — bringing new visitors and new revenue into the community. One project Rob has taken a personal interest in is the development of a downtown convention and meeting center. He believes this initiative can serve as a catalyst for economic growth — not just in downtown, but across the entire city. As the state capital, Frankfort should have a modern facility capable of hosting large gatherings, conferences, and smaller conventions. Providing that space will attract visitors, generate business activity, and strengthen the local economy. This effort also connects directly to ongoing discussions surrounding renovations of the Capital Plaza Hotel site. Together, these projects present a unique opportunity to revitalize downtown, stimulate investment, and position Frankfort as a destination for business, government, and community events. Rob remains committed to ensuring that each of these initiatives is pursued with careful planning, fiscal responsibility, and a long-term vision that benefits the entire community.
